Welcome to
Lexicon of ImpactsTM

Accelerate positive impacts building a common language for investors, communities and project developers to activate catalytic capital for our planet.

The Lexicon™ is a California-based NGO. The Lexicon of Impacts gathers an international community of conservationists, impact investors, scientists, activists, and government agencies. Their work provides a common language and knowledge sharing tools to visually express positive impacts across six key domains: air, water soil, biodiversity, equity and carbon.

We call it Ecological Benefits Framework (EBF).

Impact Simulators (Sim) are digital tools containing a collection of interactive stories that demonstrate what an impact project looks like when the challenges that plague a community are resolved.

Information Artworks focus on inspiring people whose practices offer us a different way to look at food, agriculture and conservation.

Digital fingerprints are visualization of the project’s impact, illustrating key interventions and how they contribute to generate positive impacts and ecosystem services.

Lex Icons™ are an eminently useful, peer-reviewed visual language of terms and principles that describe nature-positive solutions.
