Developing a standardized framework for how individual credits are depicted across carbon and other ecological benefit markets will move the marketplace closer to a standardized data wallet that depicts the full range of qualitative/quantitative values associated with a credit purchase, for all six ecological benefits.
The Lexicon develops a number of valuable tools to express the full range of value generated by projects typically found on a carbon market, going beyond carbon to show ways to include air, water, soil, biodiversity, and equity.
EBF respects that buyers and sellers follow many pathways to make purchases with trust. Instead of providing a proprietary (closed) set of methodologies and protocols for measurement, EBF presents a single dashboard to represent and demystify what these widely varying decisions look like.

Lexicon of Impacts is based on the Ecological Benefits Framework (EBF).
